Courtney gained extensive experience during her 15 years with an AmLaw 100 firm focusing on Chapter 11 bankruptcy, out-of-court restructurings, financial services litigation, and financial regulatory compliance. She helped her clients develop an in-depth picture of their assets and liabilities, and realistic prospects, so they could collaboratively determine the best path forward – workout, reorganization, or asset sale. Courtney learned the ins and outs of bankruptcy law and the court system to use as tools to help clients achieve a secure financial future.

To gain a better understanding of day-to-day business operations Courtney joined a financial services company as legal counsel and Compliance Officer. Working  directly with the C-Suite gave Courtney a deep understanding of how companies face the unforeseen circumstances that arise as well as the opportunities such circumstances present to renegotiate key contracts and obtain more favorable terms. Courtney uses all of her experience to create innovative solutions for her clients and to position them for future success.

Courtney focuses on working directly with a client’s team to deeply understand their business, their current financial situation, and how we can leverage assets and the law to turn the business around. This focus is based on a belief that there is not a one-size fits all approach to restructuring.
